Krk
Insula Aurea or the “golden island” Krk is the biggest island in Croatia connected to mainland with bridge long 1430 m, which actually consist of two arches. Krk is an island with a rich cultural and historical heritage, as well as main town Krk. The town is ancient, being among the oldest in the Adriatic and because of the mighty city walls was the last Croatian island that was occupied by the Venetians.
