Rab

One of the most beautiful Adriatic islands with marvellous scenic diversity, a variety of beautiful sandy beaches, a cultural milieu dating back to pre-Roman times. St. Marinus the Christian founder of San Marino, was a native of Rab. It was 1936 when English king Edward VIII and Mrs Wallis Simpson, with their yacht Nahlin anchored in Rab harbour and visited the old town centre.

Old town with 4 bell towers of Rab, the symbol of the town and island, date back to the eleventh century.
