Split to Split

Departure from Split at 13:00h (late arrivals can join in Omiš) followed by lunch onboard and a swimming stop. Cruise to Omiš, a striking, coastal town surrounded by dramatic canyons and cliffs, where the river Cetina flows into the Adriatic Sea. Optional activities include climbing to the old fortress above the town, zipline or rafting on the Cetina river, a game of volleyball on the beach, or a simple stroll through the old town of Omiš, discovering the glorious history through the abundant historical monuments.

Early morning departure toward Korčula, the birthplace of Marco Polo. Swim stop en route to enjoy a morning swim in the crystal blue sea. Lunch will be served either on the tip of the Pelješac peninsula (near Lovište) or in the quiet bay of Kneža on the Korčula island. Arrive in the afternoon, followed by a guided sightseeing tour of the exceptional Korčula town (included on Premium and Premium Superior).

Before leaving Korčula, why not take a walk by the marina or through the nearby open market to shop for some souvenirs and other local specialities. The cruise continues towards Lastovo, the farthest inhabited island in Dalmatia and which Romans called the imperial island (approx. EUR 5.- to be paid on the spot to enter the Lastovo Nature Park). Dock in the port of Ubli. From there, the local bus or taxi drives to Lastovo village for a visit to the local winery and tasting some indigenous wine sorts (optional).

Early morning departure towards Vis island, which was “off-limits” to tourists for many years. Because of its unique geographical position, it was a strategic harbour for the Yugoslav navy and in this period of isolation Vis has retained a rather special charm reflecting the “‘Mediterranean as it once was” making it really interesting to see. Near Vis, there is a tiny Ravnik island, where the Green Cave is situated (entrance fee approx. EUR 10.-). It was named after the unusual greenish light that reflects in the sea from the hole on top of the cave.

Early in the morning, cruise toward the little island Biševo, to visit the Blue Cave, a magnificent natural phenomenon. As sometimes weather conditions can be very unpredictable, the cave might be closed for visits due to wind and/or high tide – the crew will inform you in time. The entrance fee is to be paid on the spot (EUR 10-14.- per person). After the Blue Cave, the cruise resumes towards Stari Grad on the island of Hvar. Records confirm that Hvar is the sunniest island in the Adriatic.

After breakfast, cruise toward the beautiful Brač island and the famous town of Bol which has one of the most unusual, and most photographed beaches in Dalmatia. Swim stop at Zlatni Rat, the Golden Horn (or cape) a shingle bar or spit that shifts from side to side, changing shape according to the change in direction of the wind and waves. Bol is a typical fishermen’s town. It became a popular tourist destination but kept its charm.

Enjoy the best of the last day relaxing and swimming in various quiet bays on the island of Brač before arriving in Split in the afternoon.
